What is more fun that a few pounds of glitter, a fun 5 year old little girl, and playing dress up? Not much that I can think of!
Sometimes my job is so fun I just have to pinch myself. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of Miss E at her very own glitter session!
People tell me I have never met a stranger. I met one of the members of this family while pregnant with our youngest boy Cameron. I was making semi-regular trips to Lucille’s BBQ at the Temecula Promenade for a stuffed baked potato (yum!) and while chatting with the girl at the take out window at Lucille’s, she mentioned she had a friend that was pregnant and would need newborn photos, so I gave her my card. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard from her friend and I ended up photographing the little boy in these photos as a newborn. His mom and dad were so kind and are just amazing with him. I have since photographed him for his first birthday and this session was a gift to her mom for Mother’s Day, how sweet! So this photo session includes four generations of this family. How special for me to get to capture this for them. Have I mentioned I love what I do?
This darling little one’s session took place ON her actual 1st birthday which was extra special.I’ve been photographing Miss K and her family since she is a newborn and I just adore watching her grow and change at each session. This session was a mini session in Temecula and it was all about her and the cake!
One of my many traditions with my own children is to take their photos for Valentine’s Day, I love getting in the spirit of this lovely holiday.
These were taken in my small home studio, I use the studio primarily for newborns and one child at a time, but it was just way too cold to go outside this morning and still be able to show off their shirts from A Lil’ Hip Shop
Check out their current items for sale, they are so cute, reasonable and well made> Maria was wonderful to work with.
So without further ramblings here are the kids from our special Valentines session today.
First this little guy wandered in on his own to see what I was up to.
Though if I had any idea jumping was going to be the plan I would have set a faster shutter speed and then his hand would not be blurry.
Nevertheless I love this shot, this is of my own little guy, as you could guess he’s 5 years old. Carter has Mowat Wilson Syndrome, I am a big advocate for Carter and special needs children in general, if you ever have any questions I am an open book, please ask me.
Want to capture your little one doing what they love most? Shoot me an email, or give me a call and we can plan your session.
His shirt is by the amazing Rachel at *golden*
Burlap bunting by Tutulicious Boutique, though I added the colored dots, they are just paper!
